Job Title: Product Manager

About the Role
FOXX Development Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the development, customization, and commercialization of smartphones, tablets, and connected devices for the U.S. market.
This role serves as the primary liaison between Sales, customers, engineering teams, ODM/OEM partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and successfully executed. The Product Manager will drive product planning, customer customization, cross-functional coordination, and product lifecycle management while supporting carrier, enterprise, retail, and open-market business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and experienced in managing multiple product initiatives within the mobile device or consumer electronics industry. English/Mandarin speaking preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Product Requirements Management
• Partner closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and define product customization needs.
• Translate customer requirements into clear product specifications and communicate them to Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and external ODM/OEM partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to evaluate, prioritize, track, and implement customer requirements.
• Support carrier, enterprise, and strategic customer opportunities through effective product planning and execution.
Product Planning & Commercialization
• Support product planning throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization and end-of-life.
• Coordinate product customization projects for wireless carriers, enterprise customers, retailers, and open-market channels.
• Support new product launches by coordinating cross-functional readiness and ensuring timely execution.
• Assist in maintaining the product roadmap and product portfolio based on market and customer requirements.
Sales & Business Support
• Prepare product proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, customer presentations, and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain Go-to-Market (GTM) materials, including product presentations, specification sheets, competitive positioning, and sales collateral.
• Maintain and regularly update the company's sellable product portfolio, pricing references, and product availability lists.
• Support Sales during customer meetings by providing product expertise and technical guidance.
Cross-functional Coordination
• Coordinate Product Management, Engineering, QA, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Track project milestones, identify risks, and communicate project status to internal stakeholders and management.
• Coordinate with ODM/OEM suppliers to ensure product specifications, schedules, and deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Support certification, production readiness, and launch preparation activities when required.
Product Samples & Lifecycle Management
• Manage local product samples, including inventory tracking, sample requests, preparation, shipment, and returns.
• Support product lifecycle management, including software updates, configuration changes, product revisions, and end-of-life planning.
• Maintain product documentation and ensure product information remains accurate and up to date.
Market Intelligence
• Monitor competitor products, market trends, customer feedback, and industry developments.
• Recommend product improvements, feature enhancements, and commercialization opportunities.
• Support product positioning and market competitiveness through ongoing analysis.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Project Management, Sales Operations, or a related role.
• Experience within the consumer electronics, mobile devices, telecommunications, or wireless industry.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in preparing product proposals, customer presentations, RFP/RFQ responses, or technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
• Experience working with wireless carriers, MVNOs, or retail customers.
• Familiarity with Android smartphones, tablets, or connected devices.
• Experience working with ODM/OEM manufacturers and overseas suppliers.
• Basic understanding of product development and commercialization processes.
• English/Mandarin speaking preferred
