Scrubblade is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Inventory Control & Product Manager to oversee inventory planning, product management, and supply chain coordination. This role is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing product data, supporting new product launches, coordinating with overseas manufacturers, and ensuring inventory accuracy across multiple warehouse locations.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in inventory control and product management within a manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products environment. While a college degree is not required, extensive hands-on experience and a proven ability to manage inventory, forecasting, and product lifecycles are essential.
Essential Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Planning
• Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop inventory forecasts using sales history, demand trends, seasonality, and production lead times.
• Generate purchasing and production recommendations to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory turns, aging inventory, and stock shortages.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with warehouse partners.
• Lead inventory reconciliation efforts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Analyze inventory performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce carrying costs.
Product Management
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from product introduction through discontinuation.
• Maintain accurate product master data within the ERP system, including SKU setup, product specifications, dimensions, packaging information, UPCs, and case configurations.
• Coordinate new product launches across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.
• Manage product changes including packaging updates, labeling revisions, and product enhancements.
• Ensure product information remains accurate across all internal systems and customer requirements.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Coordination
• Coordinate production schedules with overseas manufacturing partners.
• Monitor purchase orders, production timelines, and inbound shipments.
• Track international shipments and communicate delays or inventory risks.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouse locations.
• Work closely with logistics providers and third-party warehouses to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient product flow.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and maintain reports including:
• Inventory status
• Forecast accuracy
• Inventory turns
• Fill rates
• Stock shortages
• Slow-moving inventory
• Inventory valuation
• Product performance
• Purchase recommendations
Use data analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements that support company growth and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with:

• Third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
Serve as the primary resource for inventory availability, product readiness, and inventory planning.
Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or GED.
• Five or more years of experience in inventory control, product management, supply chain, purchasing, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success managing inventory planning and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and supply chain operations.
• Experience maintaining product master data and managing product lifecycles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers.
• Experience with consumer packaged goods or automotive aftermarket products.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica & Netstock.
• Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory optimization techniques.
• Experience coordinating product launches and cross-functional projects.
