Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
Lead a team of Product Managers to define and maintain a clear product strategy for enterprise SaaS products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business outcomes.
Empower Product Managers to make strategic recommendations to leadership regarding the evolution, rationalization, consolidation, or retirement of products.
Guide and support Product Managers in evaluating product capabilities, identifying limitations, and considering vendor direction to inform strategic decisions.
Facilitate effective collaboration among product managers within project teams.
Vendor & Roadmap Management
Oversee engagement with vendors and the development of robust product roadmaps for enterprise solutions.
Ensure Product Managers accurately represent PCGâs business needs and provide actionable feedback to vendors to influence product roadmaps when possible.
Oversee the documentation of product and feature specifications by Product Managers, ensuring features are clearly communicated from the userâs perspective.
Enable Product Managers to collaborate with product owners in prioritizing the scrum teamâs backlog prior to sprint planning.
Enable Product Managers to work closely with business analysts and product owners to enhance business requirements.
Assess and determine product readiness for deployment, validating or rejecting products as appropriate.
Demonstrate product capabilities and support Product Managers in championing these capabilities within the organization.
Enable the team for effective UAT outcomes.
Performance, ROI & Executive Reporting
Support and guide Product Managers in evaluating the ROI of enterprise products by analyzing usage trends, adoption metrics, and business outcomes.
Responsible for reporting to leadership on product performance, costs, risks, and the value delivered.
Present insights and recommendations to management to support decision making, strategic planning, and the improvement of operational efficiency and quality.
People Management
Coaching and developing direct reports
Conducting performance feedback and reviews
Managing team capacity and utilization
Ensuring adherence to commitments and delivery quality
Escalating risks, performance issues, or resourcing concerns
Strategic planning, execution and management of an operational department focused on understanding the business need.
Ability to manage requirements and documentation across multiple product lines.
Cross functional matrix management in support of strategies, goals and objectives
Experience with technical project methodologies (agile, waterfall)Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC)
Bachelorâs degree required. At least 5 Years of direct product management experience handling multiple enterprise-level products.

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
