Android Software Developer, Code: 2018-19

Job Description • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints involving management reporting systems • Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system • Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design • Designs, develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation • Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system, and the ability to modify the system, with skills in Java/Oracle/IMS/DB2/Unix/JDBC to analyze/design/develop/implement/test systems & applications on Android platform Requirements • Requires U.S. Masters Degree/foreign degree equivalent in Science, Engineering, or Technology, or in the alternative, a Bachelors Degree/foreign degree equivalent plus 5 years of applicable employment experience. Any experience in Java, Oracle, IMS, DB2, Unix, and JDBC is acceptable • Must have legal authority to permanently work in the United States.
