For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $168,800 - $253,200 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are looking for a strategic and customer-oriented Product Manager to own and grow our Generator Paralleling Switchgear (PCS) portfolio. This Product Manager is accountable for end-to-end product ownership; combining technical understanding of emergency power systems with strong commercial acumen to define product strategy and development priorities while driving profitable growth across multiple channel and market segments.
What will you do:
• Develop, communicate and execute the strategic roadmap for the Generator Paralleling Switchgear offerings, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
• Manage the 4Ps of marketing (product, price, place, and promotion) to effectively position and promote Generator Paralleling Switchgear offerings in the market, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
• Drive the development of a comprehensive product portfolio while ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams including product engineering and development, sales, digital technologies and marketing communications to ensure successful lifecycle management of related offers and solutions.
• Collaborate with other Schneider business units to ensure both teams are enabled and empowered to share technology and product capabilities.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify market opportunities.
• Define value propositions and differentiate our Generator Paralleling Switchgear offerings in the marketplace.
• Ensure the product roadmap and portfolio strategy are aligned with current and emerging industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements by partnering closely with engineering, compliance, and codes & standards teams.
• Work closely with sales & marketing teams to develop assets for training, education and digital support via the website to enable successful commercialization and sales of Generator Paralleling Switchgear.

What will make you successful:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in product management, marketing, or business development within the power distribution or automation industry.
• Good understanding of backup power systems and power distribution automation software and services.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans through direct customer engagement, VOC, and data analysis.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience building business cases, managing portfolio profitability, and supporting pricing and investment decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
