Role Description
The AI Infrastructure Datacenter Design Engineer Level 3 leads small project teams and is responsible for delivering complex data hall infrastructure designs. This role combines advanced technical expertise with mentorship, coordination, and project leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of complex data hall infrastructure projects.
Develop detailed layouts for compute, storage, networking, structured cabling, power, and cooling infrastructure.
Coordinate project activities across engineering, operations, and deployment teams.
Lead small engineering teams and provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.
Review and approve engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Drive adherence to design standards, quality requirements, and operational best practices.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and support infrastructure optimization initiatives.
Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and project planning discussions.
Identify risks, dependencies, and design constraints while proposing mitigation strategies.
Scope & Complexity
Leads small teams or project workstreams.
Handles high-complexity designs and customer-facing projects.
Exercises independent judgment and technical leadership.
Qualifications
Advanced understanding of data center architecture and infrastructure systems.
5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure design or engineering.
Proven experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers.
Strong AutoCAD and technical documentation skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements
Salary Range: $54,036.00 - $85,320.00 USD (Salary)
