Job Title: Associate UX Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Associate UX Designer to join a mission-driven team focused on improving the digital experience for people living with diabetes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, human-centered digital products that support customers throughout their healthcare journey.
The Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team designs and delivers seamless, scalable, and customer-focused experiences across a complex digital ecosystem. These solutions support a diverse range of users, including caregivers, healthcare providers, sales teams, customer support, training teams, and end customers.
The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and accessible digital experiences.
⢠Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and development of web-based and cross-platform digital experiences.
⢠Contribute to user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
⢠Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to translate business and user requirements into effective design solutions.
⢠Participate in user research and usability testing activities, helping synthesize insights into actionable design improvements.
⢠Apply accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices to create inclusive experiences.
⢠Assist in maintaining and evolving the organizationâs design system, including component libraries and documentation.
⢠Use design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, and Confluence to create, present, and share design work.
⢠Participate in design critiques, team reviews, and Agile ceremonies while incorporating feedback into design iterations.
⢠Help document design decisions and support design QA during development and implementation cycles.
⢠Required QualificationsBachelorâs degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
⢠0â2 years of experience in UX or Product Design (including internships, academic projects, or freelance work).
⢠Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar platforms.
⢠Basic understanding of user research methodologies and usability principles.
⢠Portfolio or work samples demonstrating design thinking, creativity, and user-centered problem solving.
⢠Interest in designing for web and mobile platforms.
⢠Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
⢠Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
⢠Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with onsite collaboration in Acton, MA.
⢠Preferred QualificationsExposure to healthcare, medical device, or regulated industry environments.
⢠Familiarity with responsive and accessible design standards.
⢠Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries.
⢠Understanding of Agile product development processes.
