Experienced Data Entry Technician – Customs Brokerage Team (Remote)

Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system Understand and identify customs documentation Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally Ensure compliance at all times to regulations Daily execution of workflow and department metrics Qualifications Associates or Bachelors Degree Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics Essential Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes Excellent customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in customs brokerage or logistics Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures Experience with data entry software and systems Certification in customs brokerage or logistics (e.g. CGBP, CICP) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
