Zeitgeist works with fresh voices across a wide range of categories, including health and wellness, diet, cookbooks, parenting, pregnancy, spirituality, children’s books, and more. The Zeitgeist Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and bookstore displays. Marketers work closely with sales to learn what’s happening in the market and, to help them promote and share their enthusiasm about books and writers. Some responsibilities include: Creating frontlist Amazon Campaigns for nonfiction titles Assist in creating and refining marketing content for identifying innovative approaches to audience engagement Configure basic automation leveraging scripts or low-code tools INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS Penguin Random House offers a 10-week PAID, REMOTE internship program available in our adult, children’s, and corporate divisions. Interns are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series! Summer interns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $21/hour. What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books, your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.
