Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Progress OpenEdge Senior Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Progress OpenEdge / ABL (Advanced Business Language). Daily tasks include developing backend data processes, optimizing OpenEdge databases, debugging complex technical issues, and supporting deployment and testing activities. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and BA teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions aligned with client and business requirements. Qualifications • Strong proficiency in Progress OpenEdge / ABL development, including application design, debugging, and code optimization • Experience in OpenEdge database design, management, query optimization, and backend data processing • Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture and backend systems integration • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues with effective and sustainable solutions • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional development teams • Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and system integration patterns is a plus • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control tools such as Git or SVN • Exposure to performance tuning, indexing strategies, and database administration within OpenEdge environments is advantageous • Experience with ERP or enterprise-level software platforms would be an added advantage • Background in manufacturing, finance, or enterprise-focused industries is a plus • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly advantageous 📩 Apply by sending your resume to: careers@csgtechnologies.net Subject Line: OpenEdge Senior Developer – [Your Name]
