Junior Data Analyst (Snowflake, SQL, PowerBI, Direct Medicaid exp, T-MSIS)

Required Skills: • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing functional and non-functional business requirements • 3+ years of experience performing requirements gathering and validation • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Healthcare industry, operations or implementations, focused on data warehouse, data analysis, or decision support systems • 2+ years of experience managing project controls including issues, risks, requirements, scope, schedules • Proven experience with Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards and SQL • Proven ability to understand and analyze database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases • Proven experience in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel Preferred Skills: • Snowflake, SQL, Power BI • Direct Medicaid experience (Claims, Member, Provider) • MARS and/or T-MSIS Project Summary: Client is implementing an Enterprise Data Warehouse & Analytics solution for the State of Connecticut. The implementation is planned for 20 months and includes operational, State, and Federal reporting requirements to meet the State’s needs. Ideal Candidate Background: Top 3 skills, plus direct experience supporting a Medicaid contract with direct experience creating and mapping State and Federal reporting (MARS and/or T-MSIS). Top 3 Required Skills: • 3+ years of experience in soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing functional and non-functional business requirements • Proven ability to understand and analyze database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases • 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry focused on data warehouse, data analysis, or decision support systems
