Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Fusion Cloud

Role: Senior Software Engineer – Oracle Fusion Cloud Duration: 6‑Month Contract-to-Hire Rate: $65 - $70/hour W2 Duration: 6 month contract to hire. Location: fully remote ok, Twin Cities based candidates preferred POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for delivering successful technical solutions for the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform. The individual is responsible for development and support activities in domain with minimal supervision and guidance. A successful candidate will have a solid record of delivering technical solutions under timeline and a proven track record of working efficiently with business, functional, and technical teams. This role’s focus is on the development, maintenance, and support of new and existing Oracle Fusion Cloud functionality. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Leads and participates in all phases of software development life cycle including planning, system design, scope definition, development, maintenance, and support of software solutions: • Works with team and independently to formulate system scope, objectives, requirements, and documentation. • Write high quality, well-documented and scalable code choosing appropriate approved modern programming languages that suits developmental needs. • Proactively communicate and coordinate activities with cross-functional teams, infrastructure, and other members of the Development team • Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to new employees and junior developers to enable effective software application development. • Leads, directs, and works with team members to develop, maintain and improve critical internal and external applications. • Adapts quickly to changing requirements, progresses and evolves goals and strategies, and implements emerging technologies as required • Ensures all programming, design, production control, data validation and quality control standards are met. • Perform analysis of business/functional requirements and determine appropriate technical solutions • Develop technical design documents to meet business/system requirements • Analyze, develop, and update technical design documents to meet business and system requirements • Participate and lead the team design and code review sessions • Perform analysis on system processes to identify and recommend improvements • Support system and user acceptance testing activities including issue resolution • Maintains, supports and enhances applications including being part of on call rotation for production support which may include 24x7 support when required • Perform evaluations and reviews that may include evaluation of new and existing software products • Collaborate with teams to review and advise on system architectures from all integrated systems • Collaborate with development and project teams to develop user interface and database requirements for applications • Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: • More than 6 years of experience in design, build and testing of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP reports and integrations. • More than 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement and SCM modules as a technical developer building and supporting integrations and reports. • More than 5 years of experience in design and build of integrations using OIC FTP, File, DB and ERP adapters integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud, Custom Cloud and OnPrem Applications. • More than 4 years of experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with OIC using FBDI (GL Journals, AP Invoices, Suppliers, Customers etc.) for file-based integrations and REST/SOAP APIs for real-time integrations. • More than 5 years of experience in the design and build of reports, data models and dashboards using Oracle BIP, RTF templates, Bursting technology, OTBI and FRS. • More than 4 years of experience in creating and maintaining standard and custom Oracle ESS jobs, ESS scheduling, BIP Jobs. • More than 6 years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL and familiarity with Oracle Financials, Procurement and SCM tables and views. • Experience in creating integrations and reports design specification, data mapping, unit testing and system integration testing. • More than 4 years of experience in post implementation support for reports and integration production issues and maintenance activities including change management. • Involved in at least two full life-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations and Post-Go Live Support Projects. • Familiarity with working with Oracle Support on production issues, GitHub and ServiceNow is a plus. • Experience extending Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with VBStudio and VBCS is preferred. • Experience in building and deploying standard and custom agents with Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio and OIC/OCI Gen AI is a plus. Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor/associate degree in computer science business with an emphasis in management information systems; math or related technical field that required extensive computer programming. However, upon evaluation, equivalent 5-7 years of related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree. • 5 years of technical experience with developing and deploying applications through the Oracle EBS platform PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration) • Experience in Java Programming and OA Framework • Familiarity with SDLC • WSO2 experience • Experience with Kintana/HP PPM deployment tools • Experience in a Scrum/Agile development environment • Experience with Enterprise Command Centers • Knowledge of some or all of Oracle distribution applications suite of products: • Procure to Pay • iProcurement • Trading Community Architecture (TCA) • WebCenter Content • Order to Cash Process/Applications • Quality • iReceivables • Channel Revenue Management • iExpense
