- Sr. Software Engineer - Java & AI - REMOTE

- CTH Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer - Java & AI Location: 100% Remote We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend development and AI integration experience to support enterprise healthcare technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Hadoop ecosystem technologies, microservices, cloud-native development, and hands-on experience implementing AI/LLM-driven solutions in production environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and enhance scalable software applications and reusable components • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures • Develop solutions using Hadoop ecosystem technologies including Spark, PySpark, Hive, Impala, and MapReduce • Collaborate with UI/UX teams, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams • Implement and integrate AI/ML and LLM-based solutions into enterprise applications • Optimize prompt engineering and AI model outputs for business use cases • Work with Elasticsearch, OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms • Participate in Agile/Scrum development lifecycle and mentor junior developers • Troubleshoot and resolve production and customer-reported issues Required Skills: • Java, Python, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Struts • Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Hive, Impala, MapReduce • REST APIs, Microservices, Elasticsearch • MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL • OpenShift, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD • AI/LLM frameworks, Prompt Engineering, AI Integration • Cloud Development, Agile/Scrum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Strong experience with distributed systems and enterprise application development • Hands-on experience with AI-driven applications and modern cloud-native architectures • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
