Principal Backend Software Engineer (Some Telework) (Annapolis Junction, MD)

Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance. Telework: Up to 16 hours per week (however telework hours will depend on tasking for the sprint) Basic Requirements: • 20 years of experience as a software engineer • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline • 4 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree Job Description: • Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components • Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation • Experience working in an Agile software development environment • Experience using Jira and Confluence • Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software Required Experience: • Git • Java, C++, Python • Relational database, such as Postgres • SQL • Experience with Amazon Web Services Salary: $240,000 - $250,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents - available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match - immediate vesting.
