Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark General Catalyst Peter Thiel Adam D'Angelo Larry Summers , and Jack Dorsey Position: SWE/LLM Superuser Type: Contract Compensation: $42/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities • Evaluate and improve AI model outputs in complex software engineering tasks. • Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques, including chain-of-thought and few-shot methods. • Build and optimize agentic systems with tool-calling loops and multi-step reasoning pipelines. • Manage context effectively using RAG, chunking, and vector search to prevent degradation. • Critically assess model outputs, identifying hallucinations and subtle failures. • Work independently and asynchronously to enhance AI model performance. Qualifications Must-Have • 4+ years professional software engineering experience. • Strong proficiency in at least two languages (Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, etc.). • Comfortable with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and application logic. • Expert command of prompt engineering and context management.
