Product Manager with Pharmaceutical

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry to lead the development and lifecycle management of our innovative pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams from R&D to commercialization. Key Responsibilities: • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned pharmaceutical products, aligning with company goals and market opportunities. • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment to identify unmet needs and inform product development. • Translate market insights and business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and functional requirements for R&D and development teams. • Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation, development, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring timely delivery and market success. • Collaborate closely with Research & Development, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Legal teams to ensure seamless product development and commercialization. • Develop and present compelling business cases for new product initiatives or enhancements to senior leadership and key stakeholders. • Ensure all product development activities and marketing strategies comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and industry guidelines. • Monitor product performance, market trends, and competitive activities, making data-driven recommendations for product improvements and strategic adjustments. • Support the creation of marketing materials, sales training programs, and educational content to ensure effective product positioning and communication. • Act as the primary product expert, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external partners. • Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, licensing opportunities, and acquisition targets to expand the product portfolio. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of overall industry experience. • Experience in pharma, life sciences, or a product management role supporting pharma-related solutions. • Strong knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes and operational workflows. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMA and MHRA regulations. • Experience working with or delivering products in the context of MES, LES, QMS, and CMMS, CTMS, IRT platforms. • Hands-on experience with product management tools such as Jira and Aha. • Proven ability to work effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations and functions. • Demonstrated experience building a product from scratch, from ideation to launch. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience delivering software in regulated environments leveraging AI capabilities. • Background in digital transformation, manufacturing systems, or enterprise SaaS. • Familiarity with cloud native software development, validation, audit readiness, and change control processes
